Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth wing organized “day long youth convention” an open day for youth in Beerwah constituency of Kashmir.Speaking on the occasion PDP Youth President & Political Analyst to CMO Waheed Ur Rehman Para sought the support of the State’s youth in party’s enterprise of hope to find a way out, in the future, for JK’s socio- economic problems.Reaffirming commitment of the party to empower youth of all regions and sub regions of the state, Para says, "people of Jammu and Kashmir have high hopes with the coalition government headed by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and government will make all possible efforts for the upliftment of youth of the state."Speaking on the occasion Para said that the PDP depicts of making the youth powerful, empowered and wants to reclaim pride and status of youth adding the PDP lead government will establish more quality institutions of excellence and research institution so as to provide our youth a chance to prove themselves.
He said six years of "Omar Abdullah's misrule, corruption, destruction of system by him and his government were responsible for whatever alienation that exists in the state".During NC’s rule, Para said, Jammu and Kashmir saw complete reversal of youth engagement in Kashmir started during the PDP's rule in 2002. The development plans were made hostage to NC’s survival. He further added that Omar's government allegedly, bungled relief items, created fake administrative units, opened non-existent schools and left behind a deficit of 10,000 crore. He alleged that NC government created a huge army of employees and deceived them in the name of seasonal and casual employees.
Addressing the youth convention at Town hall Maagam, Para said, the empowerment of the people particularly the youth forms is the key element of the PDP’s agenda and the party will fight for it without any compromises. He said PDP has formulated a comprehensive policy for the development of every section of the society and it will be its effort to involve every individual in its story of change.Adding that government is committed to address the issues of people besides fulfil their aspirations. Unemployed youth of constituency were informed regarding the pattern of government schemes and opportunities available with entrepreneurship. (CNS)
