Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal today appointed S. Avtar Singh Banwala as President of SAD's Lambi Block. Sukhbir Singh Badal asked  S Banwala to work for strengthening of party in the Lambi Circle besides initiating a campaign to disseminate welfare policies and program of SAD-BJP at grassroot level.Thanking S Badal for bestowing upon this responsibility upon him, S. Banwala accompanied by SAD district president Jathedar Dayal Singh Kolianwali, Tejinder Singh Middukhera and other leaders assured S. Badal that he will leave no stone unturned to take Party to new heights in Lambi. S. Badal also offered sweets to S. Banwala.Prominent amongst those present included Gurbakhshish Singh, Kulwinder Singh Kaka Bhai Kera, Nihan Singh Malluanwala, Mandeep Singh Pappi, Karamjit Kaur Sikhwala, Bikkat Singh Channu, Iqbal Singh, Harwinder Singh, Jaswant Singh Lambi and Jasmel Singh Mithri etc.
