Chief Minister, Virbhadra Singh has extended felicitations to the Cricket Legend, Sachin Ramesh  Tendulkar for being chosen for Bharat Ratna, the countries biggest civilian award.He said that Sachin devoted his life for the Cricket and showed extraordinary brilliance as a sportsperson and had won laurels for the Nation during the last 24 years which he dedicated for Cricket.  Being the youngest in list of 41 eminent personalities for recognition of exceptional services and being chosen for this award, Sachin had set an example for the budding sportsmen. He was not only a sportsperson but also a role model for the youth of the country.  Honesty, sincerity, dedication, and hard-work and above all, remaining low to ground were the ingredients of success and Sachin had all these qualities despite achieving rare feat in Life, he said.Chief Minister said that the records set up by him were unmatchable and he announced his retirement from International Cricket after achieving the heights in Cricket Arena for which every player dreams. For him, there always existed Limit beyond the Sky.He hoped that he would continue shaping the younger players and would always be there with Team India for guiding and giving necessary tips from time to time.
