Opposition leader, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, Kacho Ahmed Ali Khan this evening called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here and discussed various matters relating to the development of Kargil district.Kacho Ahmed Ali expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for his keen interest in the development of Backward Pockets like Kargil. He also thanked the Chief Minister for launching MNRE schemes in the district, facilitating construction of Zojila tunnel and nomination of 4 members in the LAHDC, Kargil.Kacho Ahmed Ali requested the Chief Minister for enhancing the district development plan for Kargil and initiating special package of employment for this economically backward and remote district. The Chief Minister gave patient hearing and said that holistic development of the State is benchmark of his Government and backward and cut off areas receive special attention in its development policy.
