District Development Commissioner, Ramban MH Malik Inaugurated the Two Days Employment Fair 2013 in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School Ramban organized by the District Employment and Councling Centre, Ramban in collaboration with district administration department. Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that generating of employment opportunities for youth is a challenge and only self-employment is the big option to meet the employment problem and he also impressed upon youth to avail the benefits of Self employment sachems launched by the different department.
He distributed the cheques of amounting to Rs 5.78 lakh under Jammu Kashmir Self Employment Schemes among 12 beneficiaries.As many as 25 departments including different Banks were have participated and installed their department’s stalls with awareness material and people especially youth showed keen interest in various self-employments schemes and departments also made on spot registration of youth for self employment sachems.Earlier, AD Employment gave the detail resume of programme and other officers and officials of different departments also gave the details of different schemes. Additional District Development Commissioner, Pardeep Kumar, ADC, Nawabdin, ACR, Dhananter Singh, AD Employment, Naresh Kumar, Tehsildar Ramban, District and sectoral officer of different department attended the function.
