District level tournament under 19 group in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Volleyball concluded here today at district police line Ramban.Teams hailing from far-flung areas of the district participated in the two day competitions organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Ramban. In volleyball final Government HSS Neel defeated Government HSS Gandhri in straight sets by 25-15, 25-16 points. In other final Government HSS Ramban beat Government HSS Neel in a closely contested Kabaddi match by 52-47 points where as earlier Government HSS Batote out played Government HSS Banihal by 26-16 points in Kho-Kho final.Government HSS Gandhri beat Government HSS Ramban in volleyball Ist semi-final by 25-19, 27-25 points.In second semi final Government HSS Neel got upper hand by defeating Government HSS Ukhral 25-21, 26-28 & 15-10 points. In Kabaddi Ist semi final Government HSS Ramban out played HSS Banihal by 24-16 points. In second semi final HSS Neel trounced HSS Ukhral by 35-17 points.The tournament is being organised under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Office.
