While concluding his whirlwind two day tour of the state for activising the party machinery to organize Lalkar Rally of Narendra Modi on 1st December, Member of Parliament & J&k Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna chaired the meeting of cell Convenors at party hqrs, Kachi Chawni, Jammu. It was convened by State Cells Incharge Sat Sharma (C.A).BJP State President Jugal kishore Sharma, alongwith Leader of Legislative party Ashok Khajuria and State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul also graced the meeting in which around Convenors of about 26 cells participated.Khanna while addressing the meeting stressed the importance of making the cells effective and meaningful. He said that since cells in the BJP are constituted to cater to a very specialized group of citizenry and their requirements and needs are different from others and require focused attention, hence the cells are created. There are no two opinions about the great desire of the people to participate in the rally of Narendra Modi hence the cells should also get active and rally their targeted class of people which would ultimately bear handsome fruits for the party at the hustings.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that all the backup and other facilities which the party workers might require in preparation of the rally, the same should be created by the cell incharge themselves besides getting possible help from the party. The workers can contact party headquarters round the clock and thereby become effective. In view of the widespread and universal desire of the public to attend the rally of Narendra Modi and hear him, it is duty of every worker to facilitate this desire by rendering whatever assistance is needed.Avinash Rai Khanna also chaired a massive meeting at Akhnoor alongwith National Executive Member Shamsher Singh Manhas, State General Secretary Ashok Koul and other leaders.Meanwhile, State General Kavinder Gupta chaired a meeting at Udhampur in connection with rally.State Treasurer Chander Mohan Gupta also chaired a meeting of Sunderbani-Nowshera district at Sunderbani to take stock of the preparations at district level.BJP State Secretary Munish Sharma visited Kishtwar and held series of meetings with the local district unit to discuss the participation of people from this hilly district to the scheduled rally. State Treasurer Pramodh Kapahi alongwith R.S. Pura District President Sat Pal Pappi, chaired a meeting of Arnia.
