A meeting of Anti-Drug Federation of India(ADFI) was called at Zirakpur in which its National President Ranjit Singh Nikda also joined as Chief Guest. During the meeting, crucial appointments were made. Advocate Neeraj Bhalla was appointed as National Vice President whereas Anoop Sharma was designated as Joint Secretary for Punjab and Mr Karan Bedi appointed as President of district Mohali .

The new appointees thanked the body and expressed their commitment towards its campaign against the drug menace. “To strengthen this movement a ‘door to door’ campaign has been initiated by organising Awareness Camps which will cover not only villages and towns but schools and colleges also.” Said Mr. Neeraj Bhalla, National Vice President, ADFI. “The younger generation was gradually falling prey to drugs in Punjab which needed to be controlled in a timely manner.” Said Mr.Anoop Sharma, Joint Secretary, ADFI Punjab.
