A new daily inter-city express between Guwahati and Murkongselek in Assam's Dhemaji district will be launched soon, Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha said on Monday.Stating that though the 15613/15614 Guwahati-Murkongselek Intercity Express was announced in the railway budget of 2014-15, Sinha said: "The introduction of the train got delayed due to certain technical reasons pertaining to safety clearances.""The same has now been obtained and the train will be introduced shortly," the minister said in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha.Murkongselek is in the easternmost sub-division of Jonai in Dhemaji on the north bank of the Brahmaputra river.
