The BSF on Saturday apprehended a 65-year-old man for trying to smuggle US-made guns near the Bangladesh border in West Bengal's Murshidabad district."The weapons courier was identified as Mannan Seikh, a 65-year-old resident of Raninagar in Murshidabad. We have seized two US-made pistols, four magazines and nine rounds from his possession," said an officer of the Border Security Force.The man was nabbed during a special operation near the Bamnabad border outpost.The BSF has apprehended 15 weapons smugglers this year across the South Bengal frontier.
