On wednesday cross gunfight was started between 26 Rajput Regiment of Army and miltants near Aegal Post of Karnah sector of district kupwara.At least three militants were killed in the ongoing encounter led by Army in karnah Sector of district kupwara. However one Army Soldier was killed and two others got injured during the operation, an official said.Two soldiers have sustained minor injuries in the ongoing operation in karnah sector.The exchange of fire with militants was resumed today morning and was going on till last reports came in, sources said.
