Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Advocate Abdul Haq, along with MLA Kupwara, Mr. Bashir Ahmed Dar and District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Mr. K.R Ranjan paid an extensive tour of various areas of Kupwara and Lolab constituencies to review the progress of on-going development projects in these areas under execution by various executing agencies.The Minister was briefed about the status of works on various on-going projects in Kralpora, Chowkibal, Trehgam, Meliyal, Panzgam, Manzgam, Kalaroos, Khumriyal areas of District Kupwara.
He impressed upon the executing agencies for time bound completion of these works for which the District Development Board has already released Rs. 7 Crore.The District Development Commissioner was asked to monitor the system and seek progress reports from concerned agencies regarding the work done on the projects.MLA, Kupwara who was accompanied by the Minister highlighted the demands of the people for early redressal.On the way several deputations met the Minister and projected their demands.
