JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik Monday strongly condemned the spree of arrests, nocturnal raids and other oppressive measures unleashed against youth of Kashmir.Condemning the reign of terror unleashed especially in Kulgam, Anantnag, downtown Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir, arrest of innocent youth and nocturnal raids he said, “These acts of oppression have proved that present regime of Jammu Kashmir is a anti Kashmiri regime.”Terming arrest of about a dozen youth in Bogam Kulgam recently as an act of frustration, Malik said, “These youth were not released even on the auspicious occasion of Eid. Rulers will yield nothing but shame by pushing Kashmiris to the wall through their repressive measures.”Meanwhile, a spokesman of JKLF said Malik was placed under house arrest on last Friday of Ramadhan and denied a chance to address a public meeting at Chrar-I-Shareef. “He was again house arrested on Eid day and not allowed to offer Eid prayers,” he added.
