The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Wednesday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for what it called achieving a major breakthrough in India's ties with Pakistan after Islamabad agreed to Delhi's long held view that all forms of terror are unacceptable. In a statement here the BJP spokesman Khalid Jehangir said: “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief  that terror cannot be good or bad. Terrorism in any form is unacceptable and it’s for the first time Pakistan has agreed to combat terrorism in all its forms.”

The BJP spokesman said that it’s for the first time during all these years that Pakistan has been made to understand that “Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and India won’t compromise on its sovereignty and integrity.” Jehangir exuded hope that now onwards “Pakistan won’t support terror and separatists in Jammu and Kashmir and would allow the people of JK live a peaceful life.”“People of Jammu and Kashmir have seen enough of bloodshed during the past 22-years. They are fed up of violence. They want to live a peaceful life and prosper along with others,” he added.
