Star Plus takes another leap in storytelling with PHIR BHI NA MAANE…BADTAMEEZ DIL.It is an intense and passionate love story of Abeer Malhotra, a VJ and Meher Purohit, a Business Head, who get separated because of their own misunderstandings and the manipulations of others only to meet again after seven years to resolve the unsettled issues and misunderstandings. The show is produced by the popular Saurabh Tewary of Saurabh Tewary Films.
Kuber Malhotra, played by renowned actor Ayub Khan is Abeer’s father who is a top industrialist often featured in business dailies and news channels alongside the who’s who of India. Kuber Malhotra has managed to achieve so much due to his sharp business acumen, egoistic nature and shrewd vision. But in spite of having achieved all this and more professionally, Kuber is still not a happy man as his son Abeer has decided to pursue his passion in music and become a VJ of a popular channel instead of joining his father’s well-established business. Due to the father-son differences, Kuber and Abeer don’t share a good bond.
Ayub says, “I really like the personality of Kuber Malhotra. He may be authoritative and negative but he is where he is because of all the hard work he has put in all these years. Also, the concept of this show is completely different as it breaks the monotony on TV. For me, this show is a breath of fresh air not only as Kuber Malhotra but also because the concept is such that the masses will be able to relate to it in more ways than one. I have immense expectations from this show and I know it’ll do extremely well”.
Just like his role of Rajnath Goenka in his last outing with Star Plus, Ek Hasina Thi, Ayub Khan’s character in Phir Bhi Naa Maane…Badtameez Dil too has negative shades to it. He has his own ways of getting things done from others and despite being authoritative and negative, he has a personality which will intimidate the viewers. To add his own personality to the character of Kuber, Ayub has styled his own look in the show and has used his personal vintage glasses to further amplify his look and character.For the first time on Indian Television, a daily soap will have an album of 16 songs recorded exclusively for it, which is sung by Darshan Raval, the runner up of the singing reality show, India’s Raw Star.Watch Phir Bhi Na Maane..Badtameez Dil from Monday to Saturday, at 8:30pm only on STAR Plus
