The Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Ali Mohammad Sagar has concluded his five days visit to Srinagar city.The Minister visited interior areas of Shehri Khas and took stock of the development works coming up in the city. The Minister visited Makhdoom Sahib, Baba Mohalla, Tujgari Mohalla, Bachidarwaza, Sikanderpora, Malkhah and Sheikh Colony. At Makhdoom Sahib, the Minister inspected ongoing work of Community Hall coming up at a cost of Rs. 1.40 crore. He instructed the concerned for widening the road near Government Higher Secondary School, Makhdoom Sahib.A number of deputations also met the Minister and apprised him about their inpidual and collective public issues.Talking to the people, Mr. Sagar assured them that their genuine demands would be addressed on priority. He said that certain revolutionary steps have been taken for the development of Srinagar city under leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. He assured the delegations that the street lights would be installed in their respective areas shortly.
