Strongly condemning the arrest of dozens of youth during the nocturnal raids by Police forces in many parts of Old City Srinagar, APHC leader and Islamic Political Party chairman Muhammad Yousuf Naqash said the fresh arrest spree of youth mostly school going students has sent shock waves among the parents about their future which is being destroyed under a well planned conspiracy.Naqash in a statement to CNS said that the innocent youth are being haunted and arrested during nocturnal and pre-dawn raids and tortured and detained. “This policy of victimization will be counterproductive and will escalate the already uncertain situation. When their future prospectus is destroyed they will have no option than to think of extreme alternative.”
Naqash said it is impossible to exterminate the sentiment of freedom among the youth of Kashmir by subjecting them to extreme cruelty. Sentiment of freedom is embedded deep in their souls and cannot be curbed by killing and torturing as Kashmir had been witnessing continuously at the hands of occupation forces .The way out lies in addressing the issue of Kashmir as per the wishes and aspirations of its people. Naqash appealed international community and World Human Rights forums to take some serious interest against the day to day Human Rights Violations in Kashmir. He said in respect to the Human Rights Violation the Kashmir Issue was more dangerous and sensitive other the Palestine, East Timor, Bosnia, Sudan, Ireland, Ukraine and other disputed territories of the World.
