Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control,  Sukhnandan Choudhary today visited  Bhagwati Nagar Base Camp and Ram Mandir Purani Mandi to take stock of the arrangements put in place for Shri Amarnathji Yatra.MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta also accompanied the Minister during the visit.Minister interacted with the pilgrims and inquired about the facilities being provided to them. He directed the concerned officers to ensure adequate facilities are provided to the devotees so that they do not face any inconvenience.While responding to the issue pertaining to cloak room facility at Bhagwati Nagar, base camp for the yatris, the Minister said that the matter  will be taken up with the  Shrine Board  to facilitate the yatries.The Minister also sought cooperation from media for providing information to the yatries.The Minister said that the government has made adequate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the yatra.
