Underling the importance of youths in politics and calling for removal of disenchantment among youth towards politics, Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammed Saroori on Wednesday stress on the youths of the state to join the political process and play its part in nation building. While addressing the youths during a program organised by NSUI, Saroori said that though there is a perception among some sections of people that politics in its present form does not attract educated youth. He said on the contrary, it is the twin force of politics and legislative affairs that articulate our national priorities and credible strategies to reflect them in our programmes and policies.

However politics is an indispensable and unparalleled tool to change what we find unacceptable in our society or state,” Saroori said. While stating that Congress party has reposed faith in educated young leaders, Saroori added that Congress party respects not just the passion of J&K’s youth but also its disgruntlement with the political system.
