Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said that to make aware the youth about their proud-able history, state government has decided to build memorials in the memory of different historical events and famous persons who made the history of state so that our next generation can get inspiration from these to develop our Punjab as a secular and socialist state.While speaking in a religious Rain Subai Kirtan Darbar organized by Sant Baba Sukhdev Singh ji Dera Rummi Bhucho kalan, here last Night, chief Minister said that we should come forward to participate in the progress of our country by getting inspirations from our religious gurus. He called the people to respect all the religions and save the high human values in our life.

Chief Minister said that it is a major achievement of SAD-BJP government that our government maintained peace and communal harmony in the state even  when in one side our border is shared with Pakistan while on our another neighboring state J&K is also a very unstable state. He said that our history is very proud-able and state government planned to develop monuments about our history. So for state government had already developed Virast-e-khalsa museum at Sri Anadpur Sahib in the memory of foundation of Khalsa Panth except the Museum of Chhota and Vadda Ghalughara and monument in the memory of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. While short while ago, foundation stone laid down to build a museum with the cost of Rs 115 crores at the Sri Ram Tirth in the memory of Valmiki ji.

While remembering the big sacrifice made by Punjabis in the freedom fight of India, Mr. Badal said that a Jung-e-Azadi memorial will be developed at Kartarpur with the coat of Rs 200 crores in the memory of our freedom fighters. Similarly a memorial in the memory of Bhai Jaita ji and Moti Ram Mahra ji will also be made at Sri Anadpur Sahib and Fatahgargh Sahib respectively, he added. He further said that a total 10 such museums will be constructed in next future in the state and these monuments will inspire our next generations and work as a light houses for our youth.Prominent who were present on the occasion included Jathedar Dayal Singh Kolianwali Member SGPC, Mr. Satinderjit Singh Manta, Mr Charnjit Singh Brar, Mr. Avtar Signh Vanwala.
