The Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul today visited various areas of his constituency and took stock of various ongoing development works there. He visited the upcoming senior Citizens Rehabilitation and Welfare Home (old age Home) at Wanganpora being constructed by the J&KPCC. He was informed that an amount of Rs. 4.10 crore has been estimated for the Phase -I of the Project, out of which Rs. 2.50 lakh have been expended so far. The work on the project is going on in full swing.Several deputations met Mr. Gul during the tour and apprised him about their day to day problems which mostly include about availability of adequate drinking waters, power supply and drainage facilities. Mr. Gul assured the people that their genuine grievances will be redressed appropriately. He directed the concerned officers to provide adequate drainage facility to the people adding that adequate funds for this purpose will be provided by the government.He also asked the concerned officers to start fencing on Government Boys High School Chandi Ha Wanganpora, Mr. Gul was accompanied by a team of officers and engineers.
