Minister of State for Finance & IT, Pawan Kumar Gupta today held a public grievances redressal Camp here at Dak bungalow, Udhampur.People from Khuduan, Jib ,Battal- ballian ,Garnaie and Rathain of Udhampur constituency put-forth various demands and problems which were mostly related to basic amenities like augmentation of water supply, improvement of drainage and sanitation, upgradation of power infrastructure and renovation and repair of raods.The Minister gave a patient hearing and assured early redressal of their grievances . He issued on spot instructions to the functionaries of PHE dept to improve water supply and to plug leakage without further delay.The Minister directed XEN PHE Udhampur to ensure procurement of pipes, valves etc. of good quality having ISI standards.Later, A deputation of village Seen- Thakran met the Minister and demanded issuance of vehicle permits for the area .The Minister issued on spot instructions to ARTO Udhampur to permit the passenger vehicle to ply on Seen Thakran road as soon as possible.
