The Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon who was on a one day tour to Budgam district chaired the District Officers meeting and reviewed the implementation of developmental works under District Plan 2014-15.In the meeting, the District Development Commissioner Budgam Mir Altaf Ahmad apprised the Divisional Commissioner that District Plan 2014-15 was approved to the tune of Rs. 115.61 crores. Rs. 78.72 crore have been received by the end of March 2015, out of which Rs. 73.44 crore have been utilized on implementation of various developmental works in the district.Dr. Samoon also took review sector wise of all departmental schemes. The Div Com stressed upon Revenue Department to intensify removal of encroachment on state land on top priority. On this occasion, the Div Com directed the Fisheries, Horticulture, Agriculture and allied departments for organizing awareness camps for implementation of welfare schemes so that the educated unemployed youth can be benefited.The Div Com also took stock of arrangements being made for ensuing Ramazan.
