Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Asiya Naqash today visited Hazratbal Constituency and inspected several government educational institutions there.The Minister inspected Girls Middle School Mallabagh, Middle School Awanta Bhawan, Primary School Soura, Girls Higher Secondary School, Soura, Girls Model Middle School Buchpora, Boys Higher Secondary Institute Soura and took stock of the facilities being provided to the students of these institutions.The Minister interacted with the students and enquired about the facilities and mid-day meals being provided to them. While talking to the teaching staff of these schools, she impressed upon the school authorities to ensure better education to the students enrolled there.
Describing students as future of the nation, the Minister said that it is our responsibility to put them on right path and inculcate good manners among the students. She asked teachers to maintain good relation with the students and their parents.En-route, several deputations met the Minister and apprised about the problem pertaining to roads, water supply, health, drainage and power supply. The Minister listened them and assured that all genuine demands would be met in a phased manner.Chief Education Officer, Srinagar and ZEOs of various zones accompanied the Minister.
