pisional Commissioner, Jammu, Shantmanu, who is also chairman of the Regional Red Cross Society Jammu, convened a meeting to review activities of the society.During the meeting, the pisional Commissioner instructed the concerned Deputy Commissioners to ensure complete implementation of schemes of the Society. He asked the DCs and CEOs to initiate steps for achieving 100% target of collection from schools/colleges and other government agencies as decided by the State Managing Committee.The meeting discussed the proposal of shifting of venue of Red Cross Mela to Mini Stadium Parade or Dusshera Ground, Gandhinagar Jammu in view of construction of new flyover at Vikram Chowk. Besides, constitution of organizing committee was also proposed. Secretary Red Cross Society, Anil Padha, apprised the pisional Commissioner about the achievement and activities of the society towards the welfare of deserving sections of the society. Among others Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Jatinder Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner Doda, Mubarak Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, F C Bhagat, Deputy Commissioner, Samba, R K Varma, Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Director Social Welfare, DIG Jammu, Shakeel Beig, Commandant BSF, Commandant CRPF and other officers of various departments attended the meeting.
