The devotees gave warm welcome to the Dharmik Darshan Yatra today on its arrival in district Fatehgarh Sahib. As the yatra reached near village Mughal Majra in the steel town of Mandi Gobindgarh, devotees welcomed it with Khalsa Jaho Jalal with atmosphere laden with Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. An initiative of the Punjab government and the SGPC, the yatra was widely appreciated. It is pertinent to mention here that the women were especially enthusiastic on the arrival of yatra.The Punjab police gave salutation to the yatra, while the Additional Deputy Commissioner Mrs Shruti Sharma and SSP Gurmeet Singh Randhawa offered rumala sahib.The MLA Nabha Mr Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, former minister Mr Randhir Singh Cheema, area in-charge Fatehgarh Sahib Mr Didar Singh Bhatti, SGPC member Mr Karnail Singh Panjoli, youth Akali Dal district president Mr Ajay Singh Libra, SGPC member Mr Ravinder Singh Khalsa and Mr Avtar Singh Ria, district planning committee chairman Mr Joginderpal Singla, former SGPC member Bibi Surinder Kaur, president Nagar Council Mandi Gobindgarh Mrs Poonam Jindal, President Nagar Council Amloh Vicky Mittal, Chairman Market Committee Amloh Jatinder Singh Bhambhri, Gurpreet Singh Raju Khanna, Gurdwara Manager Amarjit Singh, ADC (D) Mr Sanjeev Garg, SDM Fatehgarh Sahib Mrs Pooja Syal Grewal, SDM Amloh Dr Ravjot Grewal, SDM Bassi Pathana Sukhdev Singh Mahal and others paid obeisance to the relics of Guru Sahiban.The devotees had lined up at GT Road since morning to have darshan of the yatra. Reciting Gurbani and in the sweltering hot weather the devotees keenly awaited yatra. Cold water chhabeel and langar were put up at different places.After passing through village Mughal Majra, the Dharmik Darshan Yatra reached Mandi Gobindgarh bus stand and later halted at Amloh road Chowk. Therefatre the yatra headed towards Sri Fatehgarh Sahib – the holy land of young matryrs of Sikhism.
