Following complaints from the students and the civil society regarding irregular punctuality of staff at Government Polytechnic Ramban, MLA Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh and District Development Commissioner Ramban Farooq Shah Bukhari conducted surprise inspection of Government Polytechnic College Ramban.During the surprise inspection Principal and some other teaching staff and officials of the college were found unauthorizedly absent from their duties. During the checking of attendance registers discrepancies were found by the authorities. It was informed that some of the staff members had marked their morning and evening shift attendance of 8th June 2015 in advance.DDC taking a strong note of this irresponsible and negligent state of affairs in the institution recommended the delinquent Principal as well as other officials for strict disciplinary action under Civil Service Conduct Rules to Director Technical Education Jammu.It is pertinent to mention here that this action was initiated after receiving complaints from some students of the college and civil society members.
