Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare Asiya Naqash today said the coalition government, headed by Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed to provide basic amenities to the people at their doorstep.The Minister was speaking at a grievance redressel camp organized at Pachayat Ghar Batpora, Hazratbal here today.On the occasion the people of the areas apprised her about scarcity of drinking water and irrigation facilitates etc.

The Minister, on the spot, directed Chief Engineer, PHE to visit the affected areas and address the genuine problems of the people. She also said a committee will be constituted among the locals who will look into the problems being faced by the people of the area and bring the same to the notice of the Government.The Minister assured people that every effort of the Government is aimed at improving the basic needs, adding the steps taken by the Government would yield good results shortly. She said power, roads, health, education and irrigation are among the priority sectors of the Government.Besides Chief Engineer, PHE Department, officers from other department and locals of Malfaq, Denehama, Burzhama, Gous, Wanihama, Khimber, Batpora were present on the occasion.
