District Development Commissioner Kathua, Ajay Singh Jamwal inspected ongoing works of Dayala Chack-Challain road. XEN PWD (R&B) Kathua, Er Kuldeep Singh Nathyal, XEN PHE Kathua Mohammad Taj Choudhary accompanied the DDC during the inspection.During the visit XEN PWD apprised the DDC about the resurfacing work of Dyala Chack- Challain road which will cover 15 km of road stretch. He informed that out of total 25km Dyala Chack-Challain road, the blacktopping of 15 km will be done in first phase with an estimated cost of Rs 2 cr.DDC directed XEN PWD to complete the road work on priority within stipulated time. He laid stress on the quality and further directed to take adequate measures at vunerable points which could be affected due to water logging during rainy season.DDC also met deputations of people in the area and listened their problems including drinking water and power supply. He directed XEN PHE and concern officers to repair the Pump in Pakka Kotha area on priority and mitigate the problems faced by the people.While listening to the other projected issues of deputations at Challain, Dinga Amb, Dyala Chack, DDC gave necessary directions to the concerned officers for early redressal of the problems.
