Reiterating the resolve of the Government to provide clean and accountable administration to the people, Minister for Revenue, Javed Mustafa Mir has said that no corrupt official will be tolerated in the administration. He asked the Deputy Commissioner Budgam to shuffle all over staying ministerial staff working in various offices of the district and ensure that any individual monopoly is completely rooted out there.The Minister was reviewing the progress of developmental projects being executed in Chadoora constituency under various schemes at an officers meeting here today.Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner, Development Budgam, Block Development Officers of Chadoora, B.K.Pora and Nagam were present in the meeting.Underlining need for correcting the system, the Minister said that our every effort should be to benefit the people. He asked the officers to address the problems of people coming to them.

Javed asked the officers to follow strictly the guidelines while implementing developmental projects. He said Panchayati Raj institutions should involve all stake holders while framing the development plans of their respective halqas and villages. He said this will improve the working besides bring transparency in the system.The meeting was told that Rs. 4.14 crore are being spent on 334 works taken up under MGNREGA in the district during 2014-15, generating 66,377 man-days, out of which 197 works stands completed so far. 8629 job cards have also been issued during this period, it was told.It was given out that under IAY scheme, 37 units have been completed out of 76, costing over Rs 26 lakh.  Six Panchayat Ghars have been constructed out of eight at a cost of Rs. 1.04 crore while Rs. 23 lakh stand expended on repairs of 17 Panchayat Ghars in the district, the meeting was informed.The meeting was told that Rs six lakh have been incurred on development of two model villages in Nagam and B. K. Pora blocks while Rs. 1.23 crore have been sanctioned for the project.
