Department of Education provided assistive devices to 191 differently abled students under the Inclusive Education for the Differently Abled (IED) scheme during a function organized at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Reasi today.
Aids including wheel chairs, tricycles for the students with cerebral palsy and other devices including hearing aid, were provided to the students.Speaking on the occasion, Principal of GBHSS MM Khajuria stressed that the potential in these children should be nurtured so that they can prosper .He said that various schemes are being implemented for providing opportunities for their growth.District Resource Person IED-Surinder Kumar, Mohsin Khan, all Zonal and Cluster Resource persons, parents of the students and large number of locals were also present on the occasion.
