Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Asiya Naqash visited JVC SKIMS Hospital Bemina here today.The Minister during her visit to the hospital took stock of the medicare facilities being provided to the recently injured patient Hamid Nazir Bhat (15) of Palhallan area of Tehsil Pattan, who has received multiple pellet injuries in his head, face and eyes.The patient is under treatment at SKIMS Medical College, Bemina Srinagar.During her visit, the Minister was informed by the hospital authorities that the injured boy was operated by the specialists of the college successfully.
The authorities also informed that the decision will be taken after ultra sound for further investigation. She stressed upon the doctors and paramedical staff to attend the patient with utmost care.The Minister said that if the injured patient shall not be operated by the Hospital authorities due to non-availability medical machineries then patient shall be referred to AIIMS Delhi for further treatment.The Minister also visited wards and interacted with the attendants of the indoor patients and get brief about the facilities being provided to them during their stay in hospital.
