Minister for Education Saturday released the 9th edition of the Annual telephone directory of Current News Service for 2015-16 in summer capital Srinagar. A large number of journalists belonging to both print and electronic media were present on the occasion.Speaking on the occasion, Education Minister Nayeem Akhtar said that CNS is doing Yeoman’s service by providing information to the people by compiling telephone numbers of various government as well as private establishments.He said CNS has made a mark in the field of journalism by objectively carrying out news reports based on truth. He suggested that CNS should upload the soft copy of telephone directory on its website so that everybody can have access to it.Executive Editor CNS English section Neyaz Elahi and Urdu section head Sahil Nazir were present on the occasion.
