Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister and General Secretary Shiromani Akali Dal Bikram Singh Majithia's announcement of maximum enrolment to Youth Akali Dal from Majitha constituency with a vow to form government in 2017 proved right when a sea of youth flooded village Nag Kalan in Majitha during the enrolment drive of Youth Akali Dal today. While speaking on the occasion, Inderbir Singh Bolaria, President, Majha zone of Youth Akali Dal, said that it was S. Bikram Singh Majithia's dynamic leadership qualities which energised the Youth Akali Dal. He said that due to untiring efforts of S. Bikram Singh Majithia that Youth Akali Dal made strides not only in Punjab, but even in other states of the country. He said that the Youth Akali Dal has always played an important role for Shiromani Akali Dal and would continue to do so.
Bolaria further said that the Youth Akali Dal workers are also contributing for various social causes and against our social evils. He said that by planting lakhs of tree saplings in the state, the Youth Akali Dal has already proved its mettle. He said that the Punjab government has given due representation to the youth in the state. He said that the Punjab government has given employment to lakhs of our youth and for promoting sports, jobs and cash awards are being given to the sportspersons. Mr Bolaria asked those involved in enrolment drive to enrol only those with good character. Bikram Singh Majithia's political advisor Mr Talbir Singh Gill said that the enormous response received during the Youth Akali Dal enrolment drive shows that today's youth have full faith in the policies of Punjab government as well as Shiromani Akali Dal. He said that the Punjabi youth has always supported the Shiromani Akali Dal for defeating our rival Congress party. He said that the representation of youth in Punjab government has been possible only due to the efforts of S. Bikram Singh Majithia.On the occasion, Mr Talbir Singh Gill, Major Shivi, Youth Wing District Amritsar president Mr Jodh Singh Samra, SGPC member S. Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Heminder Singh Majitha and SOI Majha Zone president Gursharan Singh Chhina appealed to the youth to fully support Mr Inderbir Singh Bolaria.
