Police on Saturday said that a militant hideout was busted during a joint operation in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.A senior police told Srinagar based news agency GNS that after receiving a specific input regarding the presence of militant hideout in Boothu Nallah, the Special Operation Group (SOG) Bandipora and army’s 14 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) conducted a joint operation and busted the hideout.“The recoveries include an RPG Booster, 03 RPG rockets, 4 cylinder plastic jars containing explosive material and 234 AK 47 rounds,” the officer said, adding, a case under FIR number 68/2015 under section 7/25 IA Act has been registered in this regard and probe has been initiated.
