The BJP unit of Kashmir welcomed the arrival of team of ministers and MLCs in Kashmir on the eve of opening of bi-annual Darbar Move offices. A high level function of BJP chapter of Kashmir wing was held at Nigeen club here where all the ministers of BJP that include Dy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, Chander Prakash Ganga, Bali Baghat, Abdul Gani Kohli, Priya Sethi, and Speaker of Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta participated in the function at Nigeen Club here on Tuesday.All the workers of the BJP participated in the function. The team of ministers received a rousing reception and was garlanded on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that it was honour to see the enthusiasm among the workers. “We believe that BJP is becoming a force to reckon with and time is not far when lotus will bloom in entire Kashmir also,” Dr Singh told the gathering amid massive pro-BJP slogans on the occasion.
He appreciated the work and enthusiasm of BJP workers and hoped that efforts will remain on to ensure that the party’s development agenda reaches every house and locality of Kashmir. “There is no doubt that we drew blank in Kashmir, but the fact remains that we are emerging as a vibrant forces in the Valley due to the pro-development agenda of the Prime Minister Narendera Modi. We will ensure round the clock development of all three regions of the State,” he said.Dr Singh said that all the ministers of BJP will ensure that the grievances of people of Kashmir and Ladakh are addressed in a time bound manner.Speaking on the occasion, senior BJP minister Bali Baghat said that they will ensure that the people’s problems are addressed. “I have Social Welfare, Forest and Ecology portfolios with me and I will ensure all these departments are streamlined so that I can serve in a better way,” he said.Present on the occasion were also Ashok Koul, State General Secretary Organisation , MLC Ramesh Arora, who is also Kashmir affairs incharge, MLCs, Sofi Yousuf, Charan Jeet Singh Khalasa, BJP’s Media Incharge Altaf Thakur, State Secretary Yudvir Sethi and others.
