Moga Incident; ADGP Deposes Before SC Commission

ADGP Punjab Mr. Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota today deposed before Punjab State SC commission and submits status report of the unfortunate Moga incident. 

Rajesh Bagha, Chairman of the Commission expressed that this incident was very unfortunate and he instructed the Punjab Police to immediately provide protection cover to the victim's family. ADGP stated that the Punjab Police has been probing all the angles of this incident and Ms. Gurpreet Kaur Deo, IG has been handed over the probe into this matter. He said that the police has already apprehended the four culprits and would provide every help to the victim family in the intrest of justice. Bagha expressed satisfaction over the police action till date in this regard. He said that SC Commission has also recommended the State Government to provide grant of Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 1.20 lakh as per SC Act to the victim's family.
