“Panchayats & various bodies working at Village level should join hands with educational institutions & work for providing education to the students of rural areas & should run special programmes for this”. This is said by Dr. Kiran Bedi, Team Anna’s important member, ex IPS officer and a social activist while addressing hundreds of Sarpanches, Panches & students during Aryans 6th Foundation day celebration & Scholarship distribution ceremony in Aryans campus i.e. Village Nepra/Thuha, Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, near Chandigarh recently. She further added that higher education is becoming out of the reach of common man. In such a situation it is the moral responsibility of the public representatives, educational institutions & social organizations to help the needy students & give them a chance to show their talent.Motivating the employees of Aryans Group she said that they should go to the villages & conduct a survey based on children to see the financial position of their families, their interest in education & should try to bring the children to school & colleges so that they can get education. Emphasizing the importance of education she said that the various public representatives & Panchayati bodies should organise meetings at village level & motivate the students to go to schools & colleges.Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that earlier also Aryans along with Navjyoti has worked for making students independent by giving them education. Dr Kataria further said with under the guidance of Dr. Kiran Bedi we will launch various campaign to provide higher level education to the children.
