Sanjiv Kalra, IPS has been promoted in the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) in the pay scale of Rs. 67,000-79,000 with effect from 1.8.2014.According to an official spokesman 13 IPS officers including Mr. Balkar Singh Sidhu, Mr. Gurinder Singh Dhillon, Mr. Mohnish Chawla, Mr. Surinderpal Singh Parmar, Mr. Amar Singh Chahal, Mr. Jatinder Singh Aulakh, Mr. Mukhwinder Singh Chhina, Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal, Mr. Jaskaran Singh, Mr. Yurinder Singh, Mr. Rajinder Singh Darbhanga, Mr. Dinesh Partap and Mr. Arun Kumar Mittal have been promoted in the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in the pay scale Band-4 Rs. 37,400-67,000, plus grade pay Rs. 8900 with effect from the different dates.
