Three-year-old sexually assaulted in Noida school

A case was registered on Saturday against an unidentified person after a three-year-old girl was sexually abused in a prestigious playgroup school, located in sector 58 Noida, neighbouring New Delhi, police said.While the girl, a student of Shemrock Vatika in sector 58, is too traumatized to identify the assailant, she told her mother of the trauma she underwent through gestures, after returning from school on Thursday. The shocked parents then informed the police who have since registered a case and are questioning the school staff.

Circle Officer (III) Raj Kumar Mishra told IANS that the victim resided in Rajajipur in sector 12 and had told her mother that someone did "wrong thing" with her in the school. The girl's medical examination was done, the police officials said and added that following this a case was registered.Police, other than questioning the school staff, are also likely to question the driver of the school van in which the victim went to school.
