The much awaited Punjabi film “Punjabian Da King” is ready to hit the screens on 27th March, 2015. The starcast of the film have been promoting their movie across Punjab & Haryana & have received a boisterous welcome wherever they have visited. The promotion tour culminated with a visit to the capital of Punjab; Chandigarh. The movie stars Navraj Hans & Keeya Khanna in lead roles alongwith a supremely talented supporting cast which includes Jarnail Singh, Bhanu Sri Mehra, Shivendra Mahal, Hobby Dhaliwal, Bhottu Shah, Bunny & Surender Singh who is also the producer of the film. The movie has been helmed by renowned director Manduip Singh who has also written the story of the film.
‘Punjabian Da King’ has been produced under the banner of Dashmesh Films whose last production was the hit rom-com Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad. Speakingabout the movie the director of the film Manduip Singh said, “It was an amazing experience to shoot the film & work with such amazing talent. The film will take the audience through a variety of emotions and the high voltage action just adds to the overall experience. The story is a musical action drama that is packed with exhilarating action and powerful emotions. Punjabi Cinema is experimenting with different genres and Punjabian Da King highlights that. Surender Singh the producer of the film added, “We made a conscious effort to give the audience a film that is creatively different. The music of the film has been composed by Navraj Hans. Speaking on the occasion Navraj said, “The entire team not just the actors have put in a great deal of hardwork to give the audience an enjoyable film. On a personal level, it was an immensely satisfying experience creatively as I got an opportunity to compose music for the film apart from showing my acting prowess.” Bhanu Sri Mehra one of the female leads in the film said, “I had an amazing time during the filming of the movie. There was an abundance of talent on the sets and everyone was trying to give their best. Performing with such brilliant actors is a challenge yet a thoroughly satisfying experience. The audience will see our effort translated on screen and am sure the movie will be loved by all.”The cinematography of the film has been done by K. Rajkumar & the action of the film has been choreographed by Mohan Baggad. The screenplay anddialogues of the film have been penned by Jagdeep Sidhu & the editing of the film has been done by Akshay R. Mohan. The trailer of the movie has already received a phenomenal response on social media and so have the songs of the film. ‘Punjabian Da King’ promises to be a resounding box office success.
