The Punjab Government has issued instructions to do the inspections in all the Nursing/Dental/Ayurvedic colleges regularly at periodic ends to take stock of the availability of proper infrastructure. Disclosing this here today Anil Joshi, Medical Education and Research Minister said that it has been found that at some Nursing colleges the posts of principal and vice principal have been laying vacant and at some colleges under qualified and inexperienced faculty is at the helm of affairs. He said such types of practices are against the guidelines of All India Nursing Council. Mr. Joshi said that instructions have been issued to do the inspection of all these colleges and redress the problems in time bound manner.
