The budding stars of Eurokids, the Pre-school specialist, from Chandigarh Sector 37-D and Panchkula Sector 9 celebrated their Annual Day for the session 2014-15 at Moti Ram Arya School Auditorium today. The theme for this year’s event was ‘Around the World with Eurokids’, a cultural extravaganza showcasing dances from across the globe. The event began with a prayer song followed by the Principal’s address. Performance on ‘Duniya ki sair kar lo’ set the tone for the event. Performing in pairs, children spilled innocence all over with their delicate moves in ‘Salsa’ and ‘Japanese Dance’. Foot tapping ‘Scottish’ and ‘Mexican’ dances made the audience tap and sway to the beats.

Children brought the old-age charm back with their performance on the song ‘An evening in Paris’. India’s diverse cultural heritage was portrayed beautifully through a medley of songs representing different states of the country. Little children dressed cutely in varied attires won over the audience. Vibrant ‘Brazillian dance’ and the delicate ‘Arabian dance’ enraptured everyone. The programme concluded with all the children and Staff performing ‘We are the World’ and ‘Uthe sab ke kadam, Tara rum pum pum’.It was a memorable event for the parents as they watched their little ones perform confidently on stage.
