Rubbishing the baseless social media propaganda by some private firm the tourism department has clarified that the said firm is wrongly maligning the image of prestigious department.In a statement to KNS the Joint Director and Deputy Director tourism while talking to media said that the agency was given the space of under construction tourist facilitation centre to organize one event for promotion of art they said firm was given the space for three months and wrongly interpreted the said firm took it as a permanent transfer when the event was closed the said firm was asked to vacate which was given a deafer then the tourism department with due consent of tourism secretariat got the space vacated and the said firm is indulging in baseless propaganda against the department.
When the said firm was asked for the explanation about a news item published in some newspaper about the said baseless report the said agency submitted a written apology terming it the editor’s fault and editor’s personal opinion. The tourism officials clarified that the said building is under construction and there is no provision for art gallery and none of the space can be given other than facilitation of tourists and for their convenience and even a single inch of the said reception centre cannot be given without following a transparent system.
