Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Member of Parliament, appreciated Derewala Jewellery Indusries ltd. Jaipur, India’s one of the largest jewellery makers, for the revival of traditional Punjabi jewellery craft. Mrs Badal assured the group of full support in this regard. The jewellery group has adopted talented jewellery craftsmen from the State and empowering them through  financial, technological and marketing support. Badal visited the crafts exhibition at The Baradari Palace, Neemrana Hotel, Patiala. She spent a good amount of time with the Corporate Head of Derewala, Mr Sanjay Kapur, and assured him of further possibilities of reviving the lost art of jewellery making.

Derewala Jewellery Industries Ltd is participating in the two-day seminar-cum-workshop is organized by the Punjab Heritage & Tourism Promotion Board. Mr Yogendra Garg, Managing Director, Derewala Jewellery Industries Ltd. Jaipur, said, “Indian jewellery designs have transcended boundaries, courtesy the bold approach of the jewellry designers in recent times. The emphasis is on creating eye catching designs and crafting them into jewellery using affordable materials. Kundan jewelry sets for various occasions are affordable at prices that are truly easy on the wallet.”Mr Sanjay Kapur, Corporate Head, Marketing, Sales & CSR, Derewala said, “We are committed for the upliftment of the poor and downtroden and the revival of the traditional jewellery craft in Punjab.
