Governor Flags off relief material to Kinnaur district

Urmila Singh Governor who is also the President of H.P. State Red Cross Society donated relief material containing 100 blankets besides tarpaulin and tents on behalf of the society to needy persons of Kinnaur district keeping in view the onset of winter season.She flagged off a vehicle carrying the relief material at Rajbhawan here today.Shri Prashant Deshta, SDM Reckong Peo received the relief material on behalf of the district administration Kinnaur.Present among others on the occasion were Smt. Anita Tegta, Secretary to Governor and General Secretary, State Red Cross Society, Smt. Chandana Roy, Vice Chairperson H.P. State Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section, Smt. Sharmila Gupta, Executive Member of the H.P. State Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section, Smt. Firoza Vijay Singh, Member, Hospital Welfare Section, Smt. Poonam Chauhan Honorary Secretary, Shri P.S. Rana, Secretary H.P. State Red Cross Society.
