The Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia today said that the mis-governance of Congress led UPA and ruining of democratic values by Gandhi family has done irreparable loss to the prestige of country. He said that the intelligent electorate of the country would ensure the end of ten year Congress led UPA tenure mired in various scams and anti people decisions thereby paving the way for installation of NDA government in the country.Addressing a mammoth gathering after installation ceremony of Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi as Chairman, District Planning Committee, SBS Nagar, Mr. Majithia said that the insult meted out to the dignity of chair of Prime Minister and collective wisdom of the Union Cabinet by Rahul Gandhi, a political novice and far from reality has posed a serious challenge before the nation to think that whether Gandhi family was above all democratic practices? He said that how we can expect respect of our Prime Minister from USA or Pakistan when his own party leader was stooped so low to humiliate? He said that Rahul Gandhi should never dream of leading the nation as being projected by Congress. He said that his latest accusation that BJP was trying to communalize also shows the desperation of congress 'think tank' for regaining power as it have nothing to project while going before voters for coming Parliamentary elections and was resorting to raise non issue of communal polarization. He said that while talking Hindu Muslim voters' polarization, Rahul himself revealed the hidden agenda of anti-people and anti-poor congress party. He further said that Rahul don’t have capability to understand the sentiments or aspirations of common masses as he was being groomed as a politician by Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi’ coterie which itself has proved time and again its ‘damn care’ attitude towards the hardships being faced by a common man.
Mr. Majithia claimed that the way old allies like Telgu Desam Party (TDP) has shown inclination towards NDA and Prime Ministerial candidate Mr. Narendra Modi, one can easily realize the changing mood of country voter determined to get rid of most in-efficient and corrupt government of Independent India. He said that Mr. Modi has rekindled a hope amongst the people of country and they were itching their hand to pack up the ongoing drama of congress led UPA. He said that Mr. Modi was a mass based leader committed to take the country back on track of overall development and economic stability as the UPA has not only get the currency of country ‘hospitalized’ but also remained hand in glove for unabated loot of national resources. Mr. Majithia pointed out that the way congress led UPA used CBI to arm twist his allies, even the hon'ble Court described CBI a caged parrot. He said that the UPA has also manipulated the formula of sharing of central taxes by granting liberal packages to its favorite allies or would be allies and denying the others their rightful due.
He said that all the eight congress representatives including PCC President Partap Singh Bajwa in national Parliament from Punjab hell bent to stop the grant legitimate share of Punjab in central funds being collected from the state. “What to talk of any new central project for the state, they are always on toes to create hindrances in ongoing one” alleged Mr. Majithia. He said that they were the leaders with their maximum limit up to “Shambu barrier” as they never raised or talked of any issue concerning state beyond that point and there too they were limited to issue press statement only. He said that not even a single congress MP should think of the representing state in Parliament again and get ready to suffer the most humiliating defeat of their political career.
Earlier, congratulating Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi on his taking over as Chairman, District Planning Committee, Mr. Majithia expressed hope that he would work hard to ensure the rapid and balanced over all development of the district.
