Hon'ble Governor of Chattisgarh Balramji Dass Tandon today urged the Chartered Accountants to work for the benefit of society so that they can also contribute their bit in nation building. Tandon was addressing the students of Chartered Accountancy during the National Convention of CA Students hosted by Ludhiana branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India at Kundan Vidya Mandir, here today.Balramji Dass Tandon was the chief guest while Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Rajat Agarwal was the guest of honour.While speaking on the occasion, Rajat Agarwal, who himself is a Chartered Accountant by qualification, shared his personal life experiences with the students. He also said that becoming a CA is tougher than becoming an IAS officer.
While addressing the students, Mr Balramji Dass Tandon also stated that his own son is a CA and said that becoming a CA is tougher than any other study. He said that people look up to CA's with responsibility and stated that the CA's should also contribute their bit in nation building. Giving a call for joining the Swachh Bharat Mission, Mr Tandon said that we should all first start from our own houses and offices and then adopt our surroundings if we want to make this mission a success.
More than 1,200 students from across the country are participating in the two-day convention, which was inaugurated by Mr Balramji Dass Tandon.Prominent among those present on the occasion included Mr Sanjay Kapoor, BJP district president Mr Parveen Bansal, Prof Rajinder Bhandari, Mr M M Vyas, Chairman- Mr Rajesh K Jain, Mr Rohit Goyal, Mr Hitesh Goyal, Mrs Amanjot Kaur, Mr Rachit Bhandari, Mr Vikas Giya, Mr Dinesh Sharma, Mrs Shalini Gupta, Mr Vishal Garg, Mr Rajeev K Sharma, besides several others.
