The BJP's Uttar Pradesh unit Saturday said they had contributed 64 lakh out of the total 2.4 crore new enrollments nationwide in the first phase of the membership drive undertaken from last month.Briefing media persons at the party headquarters, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state spokesman Manoj Mishra said the first phase would go on till Dec 31 and they hoped to add a sizeable number of new members till then.Mishra said that the second phase of the drive would be undertaken between Jan 1-20. During this period, booth level membership drives would be undertaken Jan 9-11, while all party legislators, MPs and office bearers of the state unit will partake in the drive Jan 1-8.
