Saying there would be no distinction between good and bad Taliban, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Wednesday expressed his resolve to continue the war against terrorism till the elimination of the last terrorist from the country’s soil.Sharif was speaking to the media following an all-party meeting in Peshawar in the aftermath of Tuesday’s militant attack at a school. The meeting unanimously decided to form a parliamentary committee, headed by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to chalk out a national plan of action in seven days and present it before the national leadership.

The prime minister said the government would present the national plan of action before the nation after consultations with the military leadership. He also thanked the national leaders, particularly Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, who was also present at the press conference, for attending the meeting despite several differences with the government.Sharif said military operation Zarb-e-Azb, launched in June, was against all the terrorists without discrimination, adding that it had dented the terrorists' network and destroyed their hideouts. He said the results of operation Zarb-e-Azb were encouraging.

“We want peace in Pakistan, Afghanistan and the entire region," he said and added that he would not let anyone use Pakistani soil against others. To a question, Nawaz Sharif said the government had written to the Supreme Court for a judicial commission (JC) on the demand of Imran Khan.He said it was vital for all to set aside differences after the Peshawar school carnage that left nearly 150 people dead. He said all the issues could be resolved through dialogue.Imran Khan said the differences with the government were not personal. He added that all the parties in parliament were of the view that rigging was committed in the general election.

“I will accept if the JC finds no poll rigging,” he said and added that despite all such differences, they were all united in the fight against terrorism.
